Tor Obermaier
Tor is an empowerment coach for women over 40 who have lost their confidence and are struggling to find their place in the world.
Having spent most of her career in teaching and special education, Tor felt a stirring in her soul that it was time to do something different. She discovered what this 'different' was when she was introduced to the world of coaching. It's not too much of an exaggeration to say that it changed the way she viewed her own life, herself and her journey in a profound way.
She realised that we have an infinite amount of resources within us and available to us in order to live a fulfilling and purposeful life and ever since then she has been on a mission to get that message out into the world. She hasn't quite reached global proportions but she is making a difference to the women in her community and to the the women she coaches, one step at a time.
Tor is passionate about the concept of embodiment and she knows that real change happens when we feel it and think it. So she encourages the women she works with to use their bodies as a tool for shifting uncomfortable feelings and behaviours and for creating new feelings of power, serenity and confidence. This is why she absolutely loves using the tools and coaching ethos of One of Many.
Tor loves to dance, so be prepared to move when you work with her!
She also reserves some of coaching places for adolescents, knowing that early intervention is the best way to deal with our limiting beliefs and lack of self esteem. So, if you have a teenager who is struggling, Tor would love to help.
She works both online and in person.
Tor lives on the beautiful border of England and Wales, with the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley on her doorstep. She shares life with her fabulous husband Leigh, their 3 fantastic girls and their 2 mad but very lovable sproker spaniels.
