Michelle Watkin
With 25 years of experience in the Prison and Probation service, I have gained a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face, and I am passionate about helping civil servants regain balance in their lives. I currently specialise working with women in the Criminal Justice System and am passionate about supporting women to achieve (whatever success looks like for them).
For several years, I have been managing Adenomyosis, and more recently, my husband’s long-term illness caused by Covid has added to the demands of family life. Balancing family responsibilities while working full time during this period was incredibly difficult, and I experienced burnout, which led to taking time off work.
Although I was referred to counselling, I didn’t feel it was the right approach for me at the time. I firmly believe that coaching would have been a more effective solution and would have better met my needs.
I have wanted to retrain as a coach, and the One of Many programme resonated deeply with me. It aligned perfectly with my desire to support other women in overcoming overwhelm, reclaiming control, and living their happiest lives.
I offer a bespoke 12 week programme where you can expect a profound shift in how you approach everything in life and significant results in the area(s) of focus.
During our work together, I’ll guide you with compassion, helping you explore what success looks like for you, keeping you accountable, and cheering you on as you take the steps toward your goals.
In addition to being a Certified One of Many Women's Coach, I am also a proud mum of two teenage boys (who only acknowledge me when they’re hungry or need money), a wife, a friend, and (quite randomly) a qualified travel journalist.
If you’d like to discuss how we can work together, feel free to reach out to me at [email protected].
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Helen’s Experience with Coaching:
I embarked on 12 sessions with Michelle with some trepidation. I was at a crossroads in my life, and wasn't sure about some of the decisions I was making. I also wasn't sure if the 'one of many' programme had relevance to my situation. However, I was quickly hooked on exploring the different power types. They were enabling, and helped me to manage my own work more effectively, and helped me in working collaboratively with others.
Michelle is a gentle, insightful, and challenging coach, and I always came away from a session buzzing and encouraged.
Completing the sessions has had a very positive impact on my situation, and has empowered me to make more daring decisions confidently.
Many of the 'homework' exercises have opened up new ways of dealing with tricky situations, and have provided wisdom that I have often been able to pass on to others - including my daughter.
I am extremely grateful to Michelle for the commitment and consistency she gave to me over those 12 weeks, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a fresh perspective on their life and work.
