Lucy is an experienced life coach and hypnotherapist, who re-trained after a successful teaching career in order to achieve a better work-life balance.

After first joining Dr Joanna Martin and One of Many in 2015, she realised she could use all her skills to help other women achieve the balance and harmony they are looking for in a happy, fulfilled and successful life. She brings together all her teaching experience - including training other teachers - alongside her hypnotherapy & NLP training to support her clients to make the changes they want to make in their life. Happily, through experiencing and using all the One of Many techniques and tools, she has also achieved that happiness and balance she helps her clients to achieve!

She is also a Wise Hippo birth coach, and has trained in BabyCalm, ToddlerCalm and Relax Kids. She is fascinated by the transition women go through from having a successful career, to the moment when they are redefined as mothers; and the struggle they face in adjusting to the new roles and all the demands that society - and mothers themselves - place on the 'new mother'.

Finding balance and harmony within these paradigms is key to Lucy's work.

When she isn't supporting others to be the best they can be, she is equally happy in her garden with her chickens; hanging out with her family; and running, climbing and walking in the beautiful surroundings of the Peak District and elsewhere in the world.
